he ranks right up there with (but still ahead of) mick mcgeough (a.k.a magoo, for obvious reasons). never have i seen such displays of show(boat)manship from a side of nhl hockey that should be all but invisible. guys like fraser and magoo, for some reason, seem to think they should be the star of the show, and make sure that everyone notices them. can anyone name one of the 'young' refs that have come into the league since they moved to the 2-ref system? i can't. sure, they make some dumb calls, too, but at least they don't put themselves front-and-centre by compounding bad calls with needless calls and theatrics. can anyone else but we flames fans remember game 7 of the 2004 stanley cup? who else but fraser (or magoo, tho i never saw him actually do it), would call a triple-minor and a misconduct for the excuse-me hit from behind in tonight's ottawa-buffalo game? disgusting. ridiculous. i can't wait for fraser to finally join magoo and retire, putting us hockey fans out of our misery (to some extent, anyways!).
